In-Stat – Cellphone Industry Not Immune to Recession as Handset Shipments Drop 20% in 2009 
Seems In-Stat isn’t quite as optimistic as Nokia about the 2009 market for handsets. The market research firm predicts a 20 percent drop in phone shipments this year as subscriber growth falls from 19.3 percent in 2008 to 8.9 percent in 2009.
