Netgear Offers Plenty of Entertainment Options Open this link in a new window

Netgear and the other consumer networking hardware vendors have been pushing networked entertainment boxes for some time.During this time, the specs and capabilities have gotten much better, even if the instructions and install experience hasn’t improved as much, with boxes going from basic digital media adapters to something much closer to a true set top box. Past Netgear Digital Entertainer’s have, from my own experience, been somewhat limited on content playback, but this one looks to have many more options. What’s not clear to me from the spec sheet is whether the box has the Verismo platform for video playback of this device, but overall there is much more horsepower under the hood.
