Spansion May Sell Wireless in Favor of Embedded — EDN 
After filing for bankruptcy and slashing its workforce by more than one-third, Spansion mulls the sale of its wireless chip unit. The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based firm will continue to support its wireless customers as it pursues “strategic alternatives” for the business.
