YouTube Freshens Up, Adds Sony, Will Soon Charge for Some Content 
Finally, somewhere to watch those old Fantasy Island episodes. More seriously, I think that the most surprising part of this news is the integration of micropayments. Not as surprising is the incorporation of more long-form premium video, given the traction Hulu’s gotten over the last year. It will be interesting to see if those studios not aligned with Hulu (like Sony) choose YouTube over the long term, or if we see some playing both sides (as has been the rumor, unrealized so far, about Disney).
