Why Volkswagen Wants BYD in Its Battery Mix 
The analyst cited here says BYD’s success could take some of the shine off a VW electric car success; I disagree. It’s akin to putting new, high-profile Intel chips in a great, lightweight new netbook — the strength of components is important, but so are many other factors. Both brands win.
