		<description>Canvas should work very well for the iPlayer technically since it is part of the motivation behind the BBC&#039;s push for Canvas. That said, we don&#039;t think Canvas is going to take off. Like its predecessor, Kangaroo, it will probably run afoul of OFCOM and other UK regulators. The problem is the BBC seems to be intent on creating a whole new software stack and ensuring that it acts as curator for what appears there - whether produced by the BBC or not.</description>
