		<description>I think you&#039;re right, Mike, but I think that day is a long, long way off. (Mike Yuen at BREW has talked about this kind of thing for years.) Mobile is such a constricted platform for gaming (yes, even the iPhone) that I think developers will have to build mobile-specific versions of games to succeed across platforms. I can imagine games, for instance, where you can interact with other gamers on your phone but the actual gameplay is done on a PC or console. But that&#039;s setting a pretty high bar for developers, and it will take some time to get there.</description>

Companies like Real Dice/Mytopia allow gamers to challenge each other from mobile devices to play players in Facebook. Eventually we&#039;ll see consoles added as well. In the age of open APIs, its just a matter of time where device no longer matters and gamers can play one another from any screen.</description>
