Slow news day in the Connected Consumer space – not unexpected for a mid-July Friday. For some interesting reads, check out Chris’s take on Starz entering deal with Comcast for their online On Demand efforts, and then head over to this piece on Sharp’s efforts to push LED backlit LCD as an alternative to straight LCD and OLED. No doubt, there is alot of excitement about OLED, but be clear this technology is a ways off from replacing the cheap and big LCDs showing up on the market at your local big-box store.
