Facebook Hires TipJoy Co-Founder After Backing Away From Acquisition 
TipJoy, the micropayment service that shut down last week, was reportedly talking to Facebook about an acquisition that never happened. The social networking king ended up hiring TipJoy’s CTO and co-founder, Ivan Kirigin, instead.
