Google Mobile Strategy: Join Us for a Research Roundtable

Here at GigaOM Pro, we’ve been busy working with our analysts to publish new reports every week. This valuable stream of deep-dive analysis and context is proving very popular with our subscribers, and the positive reviews continue to flow in.

However, one of the ideas rolling around in our heads since the launch of GigaOM Pro is to provide our analysts with more real-time, interactive ways to communicate with subscribers. So with that in mind, we present our first live online event,”Analyzing Google’s Mobile Strategy: A GigaOM Pro Research Roundtable” on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m. (PST). We didn’t want to present a traditional webinar format of 40 minutes of slides and then 10 minutes of Q&A since — if you’re like most of us — the most interesting part of webinars are the last 10 minutes where the experts answer questions about a topic they are knowledgeable about.

So, we’re turning the traditional webinar format on its head and making conversation the biggest part of the presentation. We’re joined by GigaOM Pro analyst and immr president Phil Hendrix, who will set the table for our talk by giving a quick overview of Google’s mobile strategy, and Kevin C. Tofel, managing editor jkOnTheRun.

This free event is open to all, so whether you’re a GigaOM Pro subscriber or just a regular visitor to our topic pages, sign up now!
