As Energy Costs Spiral, Intel Launches Low Power Chips, Microservers 
Intel has two new Xeon 3400 processors in store, a 45 watt one being released this year and a 30 watt chip in 2010. The chipmaker also unveiled a “Microserver” reference design that packs a lot of processing power into a 1U form factor.
