Dish’s acquisition of Blockbuster is one that will be debated for some time, and I’m peronally mixed on the move. Brick and mortar rental storefront networks, particularly one as large and costly as Blockbuster’s, isn’t the type of rescue project I think Dish should take on. Dish also has plans for the Blockbuster name and digital delivery a well which, quite honestly, they better move fast on (unlike they did with the Sling integration).
