GigaOM Pro

Today, Navigant, a strategic consulting and advisory services firm based in Chicago, announced that it has acquired Pike Research. As many GigaOM Pro subscribers know, Pike Research has been a participating analyst network firm since GigaOM Pro’s launch in May 2009, writing and contributing great research to the cleantech coverage area of our site.

This announcement is exciting for me on a couple of levels. First, I’m proud to see one of the analyst firms we’ve partnered with from the beginning meet with such a success. On a more personal level, Clint Wheelock, Pike’s founder, is a good friend of mine, the two of us having worked together at ABI Research and In-Stat. I’m very excited for what the future may bring to Clint and the rest of the Pike team.
