GigaOM Pro launches new coverage area names

A brief (but important!) note:
As GigaOM Pro readers you’re likely very familiar with the site’s coverage areas: Infrastructure, Mobile, NewNet, Green IT and Connected Consumer. As of today, we’ve renamed three of those.
- Green IT is now Cleantech
- Infrastructure is now Cloud
- NewNet is now Social
Why the revamp? The updated names, which you can read about below, better describe these coverage areas and the topics covered within them. The new names will also help our subscribers find exactly what they want faster. And they align more tightly with the coverage area names on gigaom.com, whose editorial vision we share.
Our new coverage names are highlighted above.
You’ll see these new names appear in the top-bar navigation starting today. And you’ll still have access to the same research content as always through these newly-renamed pages, as well as our entire archive.
