Thanks to Facebook and other social networks, if we can accurately put a name to a face, there’s a lot of personal information available online to tell us about that person. And recent experiments unveiled at this year's Black Hat conference showed that soon all it will take is a poorly snapped photo of someone to learn in real time sensitive information about that person, including his Social Security number. What does our culture of sharing and the technology to exploit it represent? That we might have to reconsider our notions of privacy in a Web 3.0 world and beyond.
