Radical trust?

Intriguing concept: “radical trust” as a path to achieving economies of scale. I’m not convinced, although the McDonald’s analogy is powerful. And that “Path” pun was completely intended. Mathew Ingram says it’s better to ask permission than forgiveness, and Colin Gibbs points out this has happened before. Meanwhile, Google earns a sneer for actually paying people to be in a panel that it follows around for research data. Huh? Has Google really lost its fan base? I suspect users have way more faith in Google than the digerati do. And I confess that I find Pinterest’s tricky way of skimming affiliate fees fiendishly clever.
