RIM restores service after struggling with BlackBerry outages on three continents

The outage occurred in Europe and some key emerging markets for BlackBerry, and it happened just as the smartphone wars escalated with a new iPhone and other high-end handsets. So it’s no surprise that shares of RIM are down more than 5 percent this morning.
