About Aileen:
At the very core, I am a person who is continually fascinated by technology that helps people communicate. I have deep expertise in the areas of telecom and networking gained by working within the communications sector and outside as an industry analyst. As an analyst, I have written about trends in semiconductors, LTE, and “green” mobile phones. Most recently, I developed a report exploring the emergence of mobile payments worldwide and companies that want to enable ths application. I am now focusing my work on the emerging mobile application economy and finding ways to help both developers and companies leverage mobile apps to maximize their revenue.
For 2011, I will also research the intersection of enterprise mobility and cloud computing, where issues such as security, device and version management, and overall impact on IT management will be impacted.
