About Dave:
Dave Norem, Sustainability and Life Cycle Manager at Mindclick SGM brings his training as an engineer to the field of environmental sustainability. His interests and specialties are in conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), greenhouse gas inventories, and corporate environmental strategy. Most recently, Dave led the creation of a groundbreaking LCA for Vetrazzo countertop, implemented innovative solid waste practices through Alameda County’s StopWa$te Partnership. In addition, he was the Sustainability Manager for a major clothing retail chain where he chaired the Sustainability Council with the goal to develop, implement, and accelerate a corporate strategy based on the principles of environmental sustainability. In previous positions, Dave has worked as an energy auditor and industrial pollution prevention specialist, conducted Green Business verification audits on behalf of the San Francisco Bay Area Green Business Program, and has performed greenhouse gas audits for a multi-site biotech company.
Dave holds a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of California – Berkeley and a dual Bachelors degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
