About John:
John is a leading expert on web and content globalization. In 2002, he authored “Beyond Borders: Web Globalization Strategies.” Over the years he has worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies and, most recently, as a senior program manager at Microsoft.
He has written a number of landmark reports on web and content globalization, including “The Web Globalization Report Card” and “The Art of the Global Gateway.” He also focuses on emerging best practices in the globalization of social media and mobile apps.
He has spoken at numerous industry events, including the Unicode Conference, Internet Retailer, and Localization World. Prior to founding Byte Level Research, he was an wireless analyst with Pyramid Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and an MS from Boston University. He is also a fellow with the Society for New Communications Research.
